WHAT IS AN EXISTENTIAL PSYCHOTHERAPIST?

Simply, it means that the way I conceptualize and understand human suffering, change, and growth is rooted in tenets of existential philosophy. I focus on concepts that are universally applicable to human existence such as: responsibility, freedom, choice, death, authenticity, and meaning. My work often entails helping individuals figure out who they are, why they are here, and how they can show up in a world in a free, authentic, and meaningful way.

BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Yugoslavia and raised in Canada. I often throw around the word “nomad” or – worse still – “digital nomad” to describe my lifestyle. I am constantly packing and repacking my suitcase, being humbled, inspired, and compelled by humanity in all its various contexts. In the eight years I’ve lived in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, before settling in Australia.

I am passionate about helping people and seeing change. Regardless of whether I am working in my private online clinic, writing, consulting, or conducting research, every day I am filled with gratitude for the work I do.

My interest in psychology stems from my personal experience living through wars, navigating complex relationships, and continually learning what it means to be human.
